INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
The DeSilva Gates Construction internship program provides college undergraduates with an opportunity to apply classroom learning to real world heavy civil and highway construction projects. gain work experience, and learn more about the DeSilva Gates Construction organization. In addition, if you have a successful internship with us, you will be at the top of the list for receiving a permanent employment position with DeSilva Gates Construction.
Students are placed in positions related to their academic majors and career goals. Typical starting internship positions will be on a large public or private works project. Interns will be invited to participate in all company training and social activities that occur during the student's internship period. Compensation is based on the number of credits completed towards the intern’s degree and past construction experience. Relocation and housing assistance are available for out-of-area students.
